The Importance of Section 230 and the First Amendment

The defendants in the multi-district litigation are moving to dismiss this month under Section 230 and the First Amendment. The Supreme Court has given at least two signals that there is some real First Amendment protection to be had even in areas where people say that miners' choice of reading or viewing materials is stick. There is a decent chance that Section 230 will render obsolete this conversation in a few months, hopefully.
