The Chinese shadow banking sector has come under a lot of scrutiny ever since the liquidity crunch. The problem in China is not that from time to time you have these irresponsible bankers who put together projects that are risky, he says. It's more fundamental than that and that is that the entire system is very dependent on credit expansion to keep growth high.
