Dr. Reagan McDombe Mosling is an OBGYN and the CEO of Power to Decide, an organization that advocates for sexual and reproductive health. She says it can take two to three months for a young person to get a basic birth control appointment. And if someone wants a more advanced method like an intrauterine device or a contraceptive implant, they may have to wait six or seven months. "So many people are just out of touch with the realities of the average person in America," she says.
