The Parable of the Sower
Jesus draws a strong comparison between his ministry and that of isaiah. It's important when we hear an old testament passage quoted, referenced or alluded to to consider the context that it originally comes from. The point of jesus use of isaiah chapter six is not just to explain non response, but to provoke faithful response.
