The Importance of Intellectual Humility in Politics
I tend to associate Christians with those who are much more black and white than those who are willing to admit an intellectual mistake. And so I think a lot of the maybe humility on the political level comes not from sort of what are the moral values that we should be seeking to promote in the world, but instead kind of what do we actually know about how the world operates? The Bible is not an economics textbook and I think it isn't trying to be.
