How Do You Treat GERD?
The hypoxemia is easy, just like a patient with COPD or emphysema. If they walk and their oxygen saturation falls to 88%, they qualify for home oxygen. With the caveat that as patients progress, the oxygen need can become quite substantial. A lot more work needs to be done on how to treat cough in patients with pulmonary fibrosis.
