The phenomenon comprises a range of things and experiences, phenomena that differ from ordinary matter by virtue of its peculiar entanglement with the human. And even in Jung, you see that to a certain extent because the archetype is manifesting for reasons that have to do with where humans are at. But Jung would still insist that the archetype exists whether humans are aware of it or not. It's the experience, the coming to consciousness of the archetype or of the entity from the unconscious that is dependent on our subjective state. The fact that we perceive it.
