The Challenges of Next Generation Sequencing

Next generation sequencing is more complicated because there if you're sequencing bidirectionally you have forward and reverse sequences but you don't necessarily know what goes with what. And oftentimes you have multiple different organisms that are reading in together at various abundances. So interpretation of that is done in the same way against databases but is a lot more complex.
