Play Therapy for Autism

Behind what appeared to be some worrisome, challenging symptoms, the play revealed there was the most wonderful little boy here with a lot of potential. So seeing all those strengths that sammy showed me in his play was just the beginning of our journey of several years together using play. And it was such a positive process of growth. Sammy had come a long way. Using play in that way has helped so many childrenwho arrived at my office with a diagnosis of autism. It's been gratifying work and sammy was just one of those stories.
