The Legend of Zeus

The statue is so named because it was a tree from the sea off of Cape Artemesium in northern Eubia in 1926. It made its way there because of a shipwreck in the mid-second century BC. Its sculptor is unknown, and the statue is not attested to in the sources. The ryachi warriors are two Greek bronzes that were excavated out of the sea near ryachi in southern Italy in 1972. They're both standing about 6.5 feet tall, or 2 meters. One has both of the glass inlays still in his eyes, like the charioteer of Delphi, while the others is missing.
