The Importance of Networking in Business

When I was working with wild airlines, they decided to buy a 330 aircraft so they could fly from Reykjavik to the west coast of the U.S. Something that Iceland Air did not do because they didn't have planes that could fly that far. At the time, while only had about 15 A320s, I pounded on the table and said, we shouldn't do this. Those planes are going to be too expensive. They're going to distract the company. But we went ahead and did it. And ultimately, while we went out of business in large part because the enormous cost and complexity of that wide-body plane forced them into that.
