The Soto-Kashon tragedy is notorious as one of the first instances of in-flight bombing and one of the worst mass murders in Canadian history. J.L. Bair Gay likely would have gotten away with it if the flight had have left on schedule. It would have plunged into the depths of the Celeron River, leaving an underwater crime scene that would be very difficult, if not impossible to investigate.
