Cassini's Detection of Complex Organic Compounds
The solar system just has an endless series of surprises for us, says CNN's John Sutter. The work tat indicates that even the more complex organics that cassini was able to detect could be fragments of much more complexOrganics that have simply broken down. That tells us that potentially some of these larger molecules are breaking up at those really fast speeds. And hopefully a future mission will be able to tackle proteins and bits of cells.
