The Difference Between Genesis and the Jeste Version of Capital Punishment
Capital punishment is no longer the deterrent that it once was, or that it was meant to be. So often, people that are going to violently take the life of others then end by taking violently took the life of themselves. The thought of self preservation through most of human history was so inborn, so biologically based, that people would do anything stay alive and behave themselves. But what a sad commentary on on to day's society that it doesn't seem to dissuade people like it once did.
