imean, we are what we call co operative breeders. And all that means is that mothers receive assistance in raising offspring. Just like in other co operatively breeding species, human females often receive help from fathers. Er, i think for many of us, this sort of myth of the self sufficient nuclear family, if you like, was laid bare by the coverd pandemic. For a lot of us, that support net was completely ripped away during coverdon and it's been quite interesting to see how society has changed since then. I would probably push back against the narrative of the book that you mentioned, which is all society can be blamed on one thing or another.
