How to Inject Magic Into Startups
I think it is very, very difficult to inject magic into startups. In a sense, you could say the good investors are like glorified trash men. They carry out all the nonsense so that the founders have lots of free cycles to work on their magic and build awesome companies. For example, all the founders have all the same problems. There is maybe 37 areas where founders encounter problems but not every team hits every problem patch. The way in which they work through the problem successfully always very, very similar.
