For almost 300 years, the way of jesus was a persecuted minority in the roman empire. Now all of a sudden, this thing that was violently persecuted is now, like, socially acceptable and even popular. The problem with that is widespread kind of compromise and complicity comes into the church,. which is this the western problem since then, and really the American problem right now.
