The Importance of Insecurity in Addiction
Trevor: We need to be very, very clear if you're listening to this episode and maybe it's your first time listening to our podcast. Like we can understand the reason why someone is an addict, but that doesn't necessarily justify it. Ellie: People that gaslight are usually very insecure. Trevor: I think so painful when the betrayed spouse unmasked like, oh, all along, I was right. It actually then makes them question everything they've ever heard in the relationship.
