The Fed's Revolt Against the Cure for Inflation
Before Volcker came in and you had Arthur Burns is the Federal Reserve Chairman they were doing more like Erdogan, right? You know here's high inflation and what are we gonna do we're gonna print more money so that we can deal with high inflation. They were revolting against the cure for inflation Right it's too. Now the catalyst for five or six rate heights and much higher interest rates is going to be inflation. This is what inflation does if the answer is seven percent inflation. If you don't have assets like a home or a stock portfolio all you have is a paycheck and every month that paycheck buys you less.
