The Law of Karma and the Buddha's Teachings on Karma
The law of karma is so essential to the buddhist teachings, we also need to be very careful in not falling into some profound misunderstandings of it. Sometimes people confuse the teachings of karma with attitudes of blame or judgment, or resignation or indifference. What they're experiencing is a real disconnect from the dormet,. o disconnect from these feelings of love and compassion. We can understand how situations have causes and conditions behind them, karma being one of them - but still respond to present suffering regardless of the cause and condition.
