A lot of the countries that's that operate their own domains or domain extensions probably do not have a sophisticated infrastructure for this. A lot of these countries ended up using software that uses a very specific protocol called EPP, which basically allows the automation of certain tasks over XML over RPC. This article is really talking about, can we take over a country code TLDs or top level domains? And if so, how would we approach that?
