Is Rishi Sunak's Second Promise of Halving Inflation by the End of the Year?
Rishi Sunak's first pledge of halving inflation by the end of the year is comfortably on this trajectory going to be met. The other graph from the Bank of England today is about the coming recession, which they say will be shallower and shorter than they were hoping for. So even though some of this stuff isn't as bleak as others have predicted, or indeed has been predicted in the past, you know, it's still pretty grim really.
