How Did You Start Drinking When You Were 18?
When i started writing seriously, i h'd to stop drinking. Bcause i couldn't think properly. So that was it. It was either like, you're going to do thes ar the other yourether going to continue wasting your time. I was very much obsessed with the problem of the cold war. That's never really gone away. You know, one of the ideas that i've been promoting to people is that you have to let the dead wood burn off. And so that was what all drove me in this direction.
