Starlight's Manual Opening Controls
Starlight only had manual opening overrides on the exterior of the station. They can't blast their way out unless they basically set off a thermal detonator or a bomb and it's magnetically sealed. So there was a bit of a weird plot hole that they just kind of, they needed a reason for them to be trapped in the hangar. The LZR man noted he studied the schematics on display in Stalin's office. This situation is too unstable to send anyone out in a vac suit yet.
