How to Localize a Robot and Map the World

The research is centered around accurately determining position and orientation of oftemobile robotk. It's all around simultaneously localizing a robot and understanding mapping the world. This can be really quite fcult to do, because we have to do it in real time. We use compute vision here, but we might combine it with inertial sensing. And you can probably see how this could be extremely valuable for all kinds of robotic applications.
