The Trial of Yinhua K

Yinhua K was the first of the three accused to be tried. His core proceedings began in August 2012, seven months after Vinci's murder. In the Netherlands, cases against miners are usually heard behind closed doors. But a panel of three judges made the rare decision to conduct an open hearing. They determined that the public interest outweighed Yinhua's individual rights.
