How to Scale Up a Minecraft Like Game
Ruben Navarrette: Valorin is very similar to Minecraft, but it's a lot less focused on the building element and more on the adventure side of things. And so we wanted to take a lot of these dynamics of what the world looks like, what the game feels like, and the ability to play with your friends and like scale it up a lot. We recently just added a technique that allows you to see low resolution trees off in the distance. When you're standing at the top of mountain, it feels like you're playing a game that's much larger than other voxel games we've seen in the past. It makes Valorin feel more like a tech
