i love community base webs of care and stuff, but i also am actually a big n of lik the state is failing. We fight for what the state pays caregivers - seattle is a 15 dollar an hour job; they make 12 dollars during pandemic. Person in retail or hand-scooped ice cream could just scream by hand that we're pushing our hand to do whatever it is you want with your life. And there's plenty of people i know who are all kinds of disabled to work like, yet, i'm in a state medicate expansion, so it pays for my attendance. It doesn't mean the need isn't real.
