I think there isn't so much attention paid to the damage that children inflict on their parents just in being children and being parented. There is this real sort of personal sacrifice involved in it and I think it's the love that we feel for our children that makes that sacrifice possible. Not a day goes why that I'm not thankful for my children yes absolutely but I also the intensity of the agony and the trauma and the torture of parenting as well yeah.
