When i researched the mediterranean. By the time i was in my late forties and started travelling, i had a whole lot of questions to ask - which region do you come from? Because i was interested in home cooking of the regions. Andthey had all kinds of myths and, you know, stories, legends about the dishes. But i waited until i got back home after each trip, and i started looking at the history. You know, arab food was considered the food of people in the desert, people we conquered,. so but still, i kept thinking how important that made me feel.
