The Depths of the Riches of God
We don't want to be beholden to any one because here's the thing, if you need something from some one else, that is a means for them to control you. And so extortion is in full bloom. It is significant for us to reflect on the fact that god is deep in riches, because no one can extort god. No one can manipulate god, because they find a chink in his armor, something that he needs. When we say that we seek to be self sufficient, we are saying, i will ascend the heavens. I will be like the most high god. We also shake our fist at god, because ultimately, all desire to free ourselves of any behold
