The Reality Distortion Field

An entrepreneur is when they're doing their job well, on some level they're a time traveler. They go out into the future and develop perspective on futures that are more likely than people in the present realize based on the inflections. And so this is part of why you need to have a reality distortion field when you're an entrepreneur. No rational employee would join a startup when it's probably going to go out of business. So there has to be something that's animating that decision that's more than just a rational if then statement.
