How I Learned to Be a Local Reporter

I grew up in Tennessee because I don't have the accents really. But my family is all culturally Midwestern, right? They're from Minnesota. So so we lived in Indiana when we were going to college, but it's we met in Indiana. And then I was just like a total, you know, I was a carpet bagger. Then I fell into this job as a reporter and I became a local reporter for the first time in my life and I learned how to be a reporter there. That experience of learning about Indiana informed this whole like course that I taught at Mercer University called make in 101.
