Kayak Hotels Don't Pay You a Commission

When you book a hotel from kayak, the hotel doesn't even know who you are. They literally, at most they get your name, and they might not even get that till the day you check in. At hotels, they're like, oh, this person cares about marriet verses. So if you end, by the way, if you book with kayak, kayak keeps the commission. If you book a the hotel directly, they're not paying anyone a commission. And so they treat guests that book directly with them like people who are looking to build a relationship with the brand.
