The Relationship Between Insurgency and Demographics

The fertility thing is happening all over the world, right? Every country that successfully develops seems to, you know, capitalism eats the young. And so if it's correct that insurgency kind of depends on high numbers of young people who are maybe in in in poverty, or want adventure and are willing die, then it seems like not a country that gives itself over to that mode of warfare. But does that mean it's disappearing? I don't know if you buy these predictions, o so maybe we can reject them out of hand.
