How Much Muscle Do I Need to Gain?

Over the entire lifetime of a natural male weight lifter 50ish pounds represents the absolute maximum that most men will be able to gain regardless of what they do in the kitchen and Jim says he can only gain one pound per year. Certain muscle groups are going to max out in terms of potential sooner than others so in his case I would say that my chest is as Big and strong as it is ever going to be, but there's not much more room for improvement at this point.
