The Importance of Timing
I like to say that I got very lucky, but luck also had nothing to do with it. And the thing that made it happen is talent. The thing that really connected the dots was timing and relationships that I've worked on for years. In the music industry, the hardest thing to do as a producer and writer is make between 50 and $125,000 a year. If you want a decent quality of life, it's very easy to be broke. It's the middle class, which is the hardest.
