The Struggle to Pay for a Tractor

I was somewhat prepared for doing the business because in high school, I took all the commercial classes that there was. And I was already keeping records for my dad in his farming operation. So it was exciting really. We made a lot of good friends. It was a good time to get in the convention. The conventions gave us a lot of support. We helped one another. You went to college too. Was that rare? Yes. There were a few women named for a high school. My cousin who did not go to high school. That was at the time for women. Right.
