Using Literacy and Reading and Writing to Enhance Critical Thinking

In most conventional schools, the jumping off point for design is the content or the curriculum. But in a more project-based space where kids are actually invested in what it is that they're learning through critical thinking, is kind of the method that i've seen work the best. For me, high quality project base learning would not be void of reading, writing, math, science, history. They would be integrating all those subjects together. And if it isn't, then it's probably not learning experience that was created out of science.
