The Importance of Exit in American Politics
Nick Land talks about exit sort of being this core fundamental trait of sort of the Anglo-American identity. Curtis: Exit is a key form of accelerationism. If I can get up and leave en masse, I'm accelerating the collapse of a state per Hirschhauer's theory. He says that by trying to not focus on this issue or not talk about it as much, land kind of use this as a method where we can either accelerate and get to this weird techno capitalist utopia or bring about really crappy leftist governments.
