I've always wanted to do art, you know, and I've always done it. Before I was making a career out of this, I was doing it in my spare time. The goal for me is to just keep spending as much time doing art as possible. And if I can get paid to do this and have more time to do it, not have to spend time doing anything else for money,. That's the great thing about being an artist. You don't need much money to live in those days. They're really, really good times. Really good times.
In conversation with Mysterious Al, a contemporary artist / street artist from London now living in Melbourne, Australia. The conversation covers Al's background, how he makes his art, the difference between street art & graffiti, attitudes towards graffiti, how Al needs to use social media (but doesn't like it!) his recent ghost train exhibition, and more.
