While she does not have a diagnosis of bipolar I have occasionally experienced hypomania and the beginning of taking certain meds. The struggle for me was I felt so alive. You know I had never been more productive creatively but I was engaging in promiscuous behavior. And looking back now I feel shame is too strong of a word but a cringe. But still that experience of a mood swings and the risky behavior and for obscurity and all these things that just made me feel like I wasn't aloneLike oh this is real. This is probably real like people are experiencing this.
