Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence - What Are the Most Interesting Advances?

There is serious research out there that suggests we can just live for decades longer, maybe even indefinitely. But to my mind, we should be focusing less on extending life indefinitely and more on reducing the gaps that remain in health outcomes here and around the world. We're already using machine learning and AI as a drug discovery mechanism. I'm not saying this is going to happen, but it is on the table.
