The Origins of Star Jelly
Star jelly is also a clear gelatinous substance. Since the 14th century has been reported as something that has quote fallen like rain. In 1950, two Philadelphia police officers came across a strange domed disc of quivering jelly. When they touched it, it dissolved into an odorless sticky scum. Another instance of star jelly occurred in 1983 when a gray white jelly rained in Reading, Massachusetts.
