The Fear of the Tribes

Hansen: I think people are beginning to realize that the stuff of civilization takes a long time to achieve. But you can really unwind it as we saw since George Floyd very quickly. And what he was trying to say is on a tribal system, we're not meritocratic. Hansen: We don't seem to have a political leader who's got the stature or confidence to do that yet.
