Are We Separate, but We're Also United?

When you add up the real costs of America's quote unquote defense policy, it's actually more like a trillion dollars a year. I personally think Texas could function as a nation into itself. And I don't know how many other states I could say that about California. They have a population base and national resources. Florida might be able to as well.
