NHS Waiting Lists Are at a Record Level
NHS waiting list is currently at a record level. There are more than 7 million procedures people are waiting for. A number of hospital and ambulance trusts declared major incidents over the Christmas period because of extreme pressures on services. We have ongoing strike action from different parts of the health service workforce, something that currently only looks to expand rather than get resolved. And ultimately the situation as we head into 2023 is really alarming for the health services a whole and certainly for general practice as well.
