Zachariah, Chapters 9 to 14
In zachariah, chapter nine, we begin a new section of the book. Chapters nine to 14 contain two extended oracles that are marked out with prophetic formulae. The prophecies contained in these chapters are extremely difficult to understand and there is little agreement among scholars about when they were made. Determining the events to which these prophecies refer is also difficult for different scholars.
