Is It Necessary to Do an Illustration Major?
I wanted to be a comic book artist actually when I got out of school, but I was way too slow. And so I started getting work for role-playing games because that required a lot less art. Those were some of my first steps as a career. So it was really interesting working on those types of licensed products like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings and Dune.
