It's a difficult topic for people to discuss, I think, but yeah, it is more common than people realize. Emma says there are two days every month where she doesn't want to go to work because of her period pain. Blimsbury football hosted special sessions this weekend for its members to try to break down that period barrier. The players and their parents' reactions to breaking the taboo and receiving free period products will be featured on next week's podcast.
